Attorney Thomas Drechsler is rated “AV Pre-Eminent” by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He has successfully tried hundreds of civil and criminal jury matters in state and federal court including wrongful death, personal injury, general liability defense, liquor liability defense, fraud, civil rights and criminal cases. As counsel for the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association, Inc., Massachusetts Coalition of Police (MASSCOP) and other police union organizations, Attorney Drechsler has gained wide recognition as an expert in the area of police and public employee misconduct defense. Attorney Drechsler is also a recognized leader in the insurance defense bar. Attorney Drechsler is a former law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court and a former Assistant District Attorney (Middlesex County, 1979-1983 and Essex County, 1983 - 1985). Attorney Drechsler was selected to Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2005 – 2010, and recognized by his peers and listed in Best Lawyers.
